Much of my life I had been a people-pleaser, going out of my way to put others first, soothing over misunderstandings, and avoiding conflict. This may sound like a generous way to be, and other people liked having me around, but it left me and my own feelings pretty much overlooked, unfamiliar, and at times overwhelming and scary. It also kept me separate, because no one could really get to know me – the real me, at my essence, my core – the part of me that longed to be seen and known and met.

 

As a younger person, I didn’t know what I wanted, so I followed what I thought others expected of me. I struggled with relationships, and spent many years in a career that did not suit me and caused a whole lot of stress. In all my attempts to meet this belief of who I was supposed to be, I had left my tender, loving, real self behind.

Over time, I became increasingly uncomfortable, anxious, irritated, and not so nice to be around sometimes. I knew I had to make some big changes, but I was afraid of the unknown. I didn’t know what was next, but I knew I wanted something  different: bigger, flowing, loving, joyfully fulfilling, and in alignment with my soul.

 

Through a series of workshops, trainings, friends, and teachers that expanded my awareness of my desires and my purpose, I began to also discover my (mostly unconscious) role in my own suffering. I have come to see my life as an expedition of deeply personal, transformative work, challenging me to seek support in connection with others helping me to continue growing and expanding.

 

Along the way I discovered my deep love and respect for all living beings, I embarked on a lifestyle that includes activism for people, animals, and the Earth, and I've created deeper, more meaningful relationships. I have access to the full range of my feelings, I choose carefully where I want to be and with whom, and I know there is a realm of possibility beyond what I can currently imagine. It’s exciting!

Through my practice in Core Energetics, and other energetic and body-centered modalities, I   am now living my dream of helping other people to become more authentic versions of themselves, in alignment with their dreams, desires, and purpose, and able to take more love in. I am beyond thrilled to bring this incredible healing opportunity to others.
